There’s no one set reason to see a physio, and if you’re questioning it I’d recommend booking in, or at the very least shooting us a message. Best case you land in the right spot and we can help you out, worst case we can point you in the right direction (we tend to do a bit of project management in this way)
But for those of you who love a list, check it out
- Persistent pain; if something hurts for more than a couple days, or it keeps coming back, it’s worth booking in to dig a little deeper
- Limited movement; whether it’s reduced because of pain, or simply feels like it just-won’t-go, we can work with you to assess for contributing factors and develop a management plan
- Injury rehab; sprains, strains, tears, pre/post op rehab; you name it, we got it
- Preventative care; even if you’re feeling pretty good (yay), working with a physio can be a great way to identify proactive management strategies; whether it’s optimising your training program, go-to strategies for when the body is feeling it after a big few days, or simply some support to stay on top of everything (because looking after your health shouldn’t feel like a full time job)
Remember, physio isn’t just for injuries. It’s about keeping your body working well so you can enjoy your day without pain or limitations.
If something feels off, don’t wait. Your body will thank you.
